Summer has begun, and that means the local splash pad is open for some fun!
“The Last ONE”
Today this little guy is one and tomorrow he will be two! Bitter sweet seems to be the feelings I have about this situation. They just grow-up to fast! Also, I love this photo because it looks as though he is contemplating what the future holds for him.
“A Plane Self Portrait”
This week is Armed Forces Week throughout the United States. In Milwaukee, it was hosted at the Air National Guard’s 128th Air Refueling Wing and Mitchell International Airport. In brief, it was a mini fly-in where on display were airplanes old and new. To name a few, there was a KC-135 Air Refueler, C-5 Galaxy, KC-10, C-130 Cargo Planes, RC-135 Recon/Communications Aircraft, a P-51 Mustang, Gruman Seabee, F-5E, F-16, as well as other aircraft. This photo was taken of the front of a Canadian RAF Vintage Trainer. If you look close, you can see a few of the aircraft I mentioned in the reflection.
Today we stopped in the new Lego store where they have a pick-a-brick wall. The colors are bright and lots of fun.
“Portrait of a Potato”
This is a photo study known as a triptych, or a picture comprised of three images placed together to show a whole subject. I chose the lovable Mr. Potato Head. Nothing else compares to his smile!
