That’s right, NORAD and Amazon have teamed up to provide Alexa integration with the NORAD Santa Tracker. All you need to do is ask Alexa, “Where is Santa?” on your Amazon Echo Device(s) and it will request that you accept notifications in your Alexa app on your phone. Once done, you can ask Alexa where the jolly old elf is and it will give you the exact location and offer up some very interesting facts that kids and adults will like. Alexa will even sing you some Christmas songs.

Give it a try this Christmas Eve and enjoy!

Yet Another year has past and once again, Santa is getting ready for his big night of delivering gifts to all the good girls and boys around the world. Every Year the North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD) got its best and brightest workers together to ensure Santa’s airspace remains clear and safe. As in past years, the NORAD Santa Tracker has a placed all of the Santa tracking onto Google Earth on your computer and on your mobile device! That is right, there has been an app developed for the Apple iOS and Android Marketplace! As well, there are also videos and other fun games for kids and kids at heart to play in the Countdown Village.

personalized santa video

Santa may me hard at work preparing for tomorrow’s flight around the world, but he still has time for sending a personalized video to your child! Santa now has technology called the Portable North Pole that makes a personalized video possible even when he is extremely busy. Mom and Dad just need to fill out a form and answer a few questions and then Santa will make a video for your child. Please note that this technology is first being rolled out in Canada, but will work for any child around the world. Santa (with the help of Mom and Dad) can have your child’s picture placed into the nice file next his or her name.

Try out the Portable North Pole and let me know what you think!

Track the jolly old elf, Santa, this year as the North American Air Defense network (NORAD) will track him around the world as he delivers his bag of gifts to children all around the world. Some additions this year are the Kids Coundown section in which you can play fun flash games with the kids. In addition, NORAD has included a section where you can download a kml file that allows you to track Santa in 3D using Google Earth. Also as usual, NORAD will be posting videos of Santa as he makes his stops around the world. Be sure to visit the site on December 24th regularly to get updates!

Please note that I will be looking for posts with 2008 Santa sightings and hope to bring them to you later this week. Until then look around and make sure to keep your eye out for any of Santa’s reindeer!
