Today I visited a nature preserve that is on my way home. It is an old tamarack forest that is surrounded by a wetland. At one time, this used to be fenced off and in the wetland are the remnants of an old fence that is no more.
It goes to show you that timing is everything. This morning there was a bit of wet snow falling to mess with the morning commute and this afternoon it was in the upper 30’s and all of the snow is now gone.
“Wishing I was There”
Today was a day that had crisp cold air with powder snow—very similar to what I remember Breckenridge, Colorado felt like when I last skied there.
